Mariemont staked their claim to a share of the CHL basketball title by defeating Indian Hill on their home court in the final game of the regular season. Mariemont won each of the 4 quarters individually and played poised, confident basketball in front of an inspiring visiting crowd (the largest student section this fan has ever seen at an away game) that showed up at Indian Hill to support their Warriors.
The championship is the Warriors first since 1998 and their second in the 25 year CHL history. Seniors Job Jennings, Taylor Sizer, Chip Stewart, David McCormack, Christian Lehman, Drew Hyer and Jake Griffin each had significant contributions as the Warriors mounted a balanced scoring attack to go along with their aggressive defensive play.
