ASST. VARSITY COACH - JEFF HINEBAUGH According to Head Coach Joe Mehl, “Jeff Hinebaugh is a tremendous asset to the MHS Men’s Soccer program. His depth of knowledge and passion for training has greatly impacted the development of our goalkeepers across the board.”
Coach Hinebaugh played college soccer at Grove City College. In 1988, Hinebaugh was named to the NCAA D3 All-American team, the same year he earned MVP honors for his Grove City squad. Prior to attending Law School at the University of Michigan, he played professionally for the Canton Invaders of the NPSL. While in Ann Arbor, Hinebaugh was the Goalkeeper Trainer for the U of M Men’s team.
In 2007, his goalie training effort contributed tremendously to the Warriors' District Championship. In 2008, his training of yet another goalie, helped the Warriors to the State Final Four.
The players may love and respect his enthusiasm for the game, but they keep him around for his trademark yellow Crocs. This tradition has come under fire of late, from friends and family. It may become endangered.
Jeff and his wife Erika reside in Mariemont with their two children.
