2011 Varsity Warriors
Biography:
Coach Nerl enters the 2011 season as the head coach of the Warriors after a 10 year break from high school baseball. Coach Nerl previously was the head baseball coach at Purcell Marian from 1986-2001, and his teams included a GCL Championship, a regional qualifier, a district champions, and 2 district runner up. Coach Nerl also serves as the Mariemont High School athletic director, and has previously coached football for the Warriors. Coach Nerl has a masters degree in education adminsitration, is a certified athletic administrator, and serves as the Southwest Ohio Athletic Directors Assn secretary. He and his wife Julie live in the district along with their sons Kevin, Eric, and Sophie
Biography:
Coach Michael Hanley is beginning his fourth year as the assistant varsity coach for the Warriors. He is a class of 2000 graduate of Mariemont and a former Warrior player. Coach Hanley received his B.A. in History and Secondary Education from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and his MEd from Xavier. He has taught and coached at the high school level the past seven years. He is proud to represent his alma mater as a teacher and a coach and is looking forward to helping the Warriors achieve a successful season! Coach Hanley and his wife Hannah live in Blue Ash.
